Job Summary:
A wide-ranging business credit and treasury role, reporting to the Director, Finance. This role is heavily involved in credit management of Dealers and customers, working through onboarding and then to ongoing day to day management, tracking of invoices and payments. Exposure to Group Treasury, particularly in relation to cashflow management and foreign exchange requirements. This role incorporates other elements including working with the Marketing teams to establish, maintain and monitor performance against Unit Cost Price Study (UCPS).
Your Impact
Credit and debtor management – liaising and managing business credit across the dealer network and customers in-conjunction with the AGCO team
Closely manage Aftersales credit limits in particular through the harvest season
Dealer and cross business liaison including onboarding new dealers, amendments and maintenance through to terminations as appropriate.
Track and maintain register of specific agreements in place in relation to terms of payment where changes are agreed
Provide input into Dealer agreement Terms & Conditions
FCPA compliance checks for onboarding new Dealers/Customers and Suppliers including the quarterly reporting
PPSR – to be reviewed and assessed as required
Support dealer central and other business areas with billing releases as appropriate
Cashflow management, forecasting and reporting locally and through to APA Treasury
Bank account management including guarantees or other instruments in place
Foreign exchange management including liaising with the APA Treasury team
Balance sheet reconciliations for relevant accounts
Maintenance and monitoring of UCPS for all brands and products across the range to be used in support of the development of Budget and Forecasts
Liaise with relevant factories across the global business to ensure costs are accurate and update transfer pricing aspects with transfer pricing to be reviewed and updated twice per year
Work with Marketing to establish UCPS in support of specific marketing programs, be able to compare these with Budget/Forecast/Prior Year UCPS
Work with Marketing to understand volumes to ensure appropriately reflected within UCPS
Work with Marketing to analyse the results of programs against the expected outturn
Review and maintain assumptions within the UCPS for elements like exchange rate, warranty, finance costs, customs related fees etc.
Develop monitoring and reporting KPIs to enable communication to various stakeholders, Management, Marketing, Sales and Finance
Provide support to Marketing for the development and maintenance of CPC. Use CPC for analysis in line with UCPS.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Conduct all activities in accordance with legislation, Corporate and local policies including review and update of procedures
Your Experience and Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
Experience in credit and treasury management including FX accounting
Experience in a large complex organisation
High level of Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrated ability to work across various functions in the business and manage internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to move seamlessly between different activities
